My Wardrobe Essentials

The fashion world is notorious for its fickleness, and clothing trends seem to change every year. Trends tend to come and go faster than the tide, and before you know it, you are left with the contents of a storage unit full of clothes that you paid good money for, only to see them become redundant a few months later. That is why it is incredibly important to take stock of the items you currently have in your wardrobe. That way, you can make sure you are only wearing items that actually work for you and that you are not spending money every year on items that you will not wear again.

I am always trying to find balance in my life. My days are often scheduled and hectic, so it is nice to have time to dress comfortably and look stylish. I am constantly on the lookout for pieces that not only make me feel good but are also versatile. After all, one of my main goals is to be able to mix and match my outfits, creating a whole new look with minimal effort. My wardrobe essentials are the pieces that I wear all the time.

Jeans

Jeans are a wardrobe essential in any season and any year. While it may be difficult to come across a pair of jeans that you genuinely love—especially the right fit for your body type—you do not have to lose weight to fit into a pair of jeans, you should find a pair that works with your body type, whilst that may take some time, it is important that you do it. The best way to find your most flattering pair is to try on a few pairs that fit you well since there are multiple types of jeans available, including boot cut, skinny, flare, straight-leg, and cropped. Once you find your favorite fit, you will be able to pick out a pair that suits your style and buy them in a variety of colors. You can then match them with other clothing picks to give you an outfit that makes you feel good.

Favorite Coat

This season, wrap yourself in wool coats, leather coats, biker jackets, and trench coats. When it comes to outerwear, everyone has a preference: some like a classic blazer, while others prefer a denim jacket. So, it helps you know what type of coat you want and where to look. As you start shopping, remember quality is important but you do not need to spend a fortune to get the piece you want. Look for fur-trimmed coats on the cheaper end of the spectrum. Also, consider the material. Wool coats, leather jackets, and leather trench coats are timeless. Sometimes thrift stores have great quality pieces at a fraction of the price.

Flats

Flats are the ultimate summer shoe, and they are a total wardrobe essential. Flats are as versatile as sneakers, and they look good with everything from your casual dress outfits to your summer dresses. You can wear them with jeans, shorts, skirts, or dresses, and that makes them a great shoe for just about any outfit.

The popularity of ballet flats has been on the rise in recent years. They are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. But ballet flats are not just for the casual shoe lover—they are also an excellent option if you are looking for something stylish to wear to the office. Getting them in black, navy, or grey, will keep the look professional but still be comfortable for you to wear, especially during the hotter months.

Button up

Button-ups are a great piece for the wardrobe. Whether you are dressing for work or a night out, button-up shirts are chic, classic, and versatile. Button-ups go with everything, from jeans to skirts to dresses. And the great thing about a closet full of them is that you can easily mix and match to create a variety of outfits, from casual to formal, appropriate for any occasion. Button-ups are so versatile that they have become a favorite piece for moms and daughters alike in recent years.

Hopefully, you are able to get some ideas for your own wardrobe essentials from this list and are able to go out there and find what you are looking for. Remember, your personal style is a part of fashion, do not go with the crowd if it does not suit you. You will find something that makes you feel fashionable and happy.
